ive seen an f4i, gsxr600,750 & 1000, kawi 6rr, r6 r1, 900rr, 929, 954, 1000rr, 600rr crash. maybe i should tell everyone that asks how to wheelie that bike to not try it.
EVERY BIKE HAS GONE DOWN IN A WHEELIE..................dumb a.ss
maybe if you learned how to explain yourself better, you wouldnt be misunderstood....ever think of that?

Why would it be easier to loop a twin with clutch? Like anything, you'd drop the clutch at higher and higher rpm's until you find a rpm level that brings it right up to bp, just as you would with an inline four. If you power it up it's much more unpredictable, it will start to comes up slowly and then shoot up, making it a lot harder to judge where to let off the throttle, making it much more likely that someone new to wheelies will loop.
And I rode a sv650, so much more wheelyable than the kat. However clutching it was how I brought it up and the way that my friend who owned the 650 always brought it up.

Re: RC51 Weelies
power wheelies arnt unpredictable if you know how to use your right wrist, all summer long i done power wheelies and i have great throttle control because of it, half of my highway wheelies are just bounced simply because i dont have to clutch my bike to bring up a balanced wheelie, not everyone clutches their bike up in every single wheelie,im glad i have the throttle control to be able to bring it back from beyond the balance point with just engine braking,im still getting clutching on lock and rear brake control so im not a pro at this **** but i know how to bring up a wheelie, get off that kanotuna and you'll see you dont have to clutch up all your wheelies
Re: RC51 Weelies
unlike a four a twin has so much torque down low that it will come up to balance point immediatly. it does not start slow and then come up fast unless your trying to power it up at 100 then its a different story.
Re: RC51 Weelies
Clutch :YEAH Clutch :YEAH Clutch :YEAH Play around with it and make sure to take it at your own pace :YEAH Once you get it you'll be able to really dial in balance point wheelies in whatever gear you want :YEAH That's the fun part about clutching, it's the same wheelie in every gear :YEAH Rip it up!

why isn't there a FHL doesn't what the fu(k hes talking about smiley? Is that the tl1000 in your avatar? Nice bike but it looks tough to put a 12 bar on that.
Re: RC51 Weelies
nah, not too hard. just ditched the stock cans for some carbon D&D's i shortened about 8 inches and cut the tail about four inches or so. The bar itself took a little work as i didn't cut the tail mounting tabs off so i had to work the bar around it. solid as a rock though. Cutting the tail was the biggest pain. as you have to take the bar off before the tail. major pain in the ***.
Re: RC51 Weelies
Was the pic in your profile taken before you shortened the tail and put on the bar or after? Sounds like they didn't make the tl to 12. How easy is that to bring up? It looks like it has a lot of weight up front
Re: RC51 Weelies
yes that pic was when i first got my bike a couple months ago. don't have any new ones. hopefully ill have some new ones after this weekend. in the lot doing first gear a small bounce and quarter maybe half throttle at about10 mph brings it to 12 in about 15 feet. same with second. third and fourth require cluthing though. yeah its front heavy something fierce though. in the pic in my avatar i am about an inch past balance. the damn thing doesn't balance till you get it to 11:30. makes learning twelves and coasters that much easier though.
