Keeping wheelies straight
Keeping wheelies straight
I can't seem to keep my wheelies straight. I'll clutch it up in 2nd and most times it wants to pull to the right. Sometimes left. I dropped to 30 psi and not much difference. I've tried steering it but can't seem to sitting down. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

drop the psi lower, do a burnout on the tire to so it isnt so crowned. You can drop it down another 5psi no problem. just lay off doing stoppies when it is so low.

You'll have to be the judge of that and feel how washy it is with your own riding skill. back in the day when we killed the highways, we used to run between 25-28 psi all the time just in case we saw blue.
Re: Keeping wheelies straight
I've tried staggered a few times but right now I'm trying to get get sitdowns where I can ride them straight then move on to staggered standups. When I'm staggered they always pull left. I have no issues hitting bp but do need to work on throttle control. This r1 is really twitchy. Not like my buddies r6. Getting video is not too much of of a problem but finding a lot is. If we just did it we'd get just minutes before the donut parade came.
Re: Keeping wheelies straight
hey bro...to me there are a couple ways to steer but they depend on how high and how slow you are going. when i first started stunting i was no where near the balance point, so to steer i would just put as much weight as it took to get it to start turning on the side im wanting to turn towards. but once i slowed em down and got the idle wheelies down its totally different. similar to counter steering when you're racing. if you are at bp and wanna turn left....i would pull on my left grip and push on the right. vice versa for a right. now the only time i shift weight is for stability not to steer. best feeling in the world man...
