I need some advise!!!

Hey, I have been driving Harley & naked bikes since i was a kid, but now I just got a CBR1000RR and now i'm starting to like stunting. But i don't think i can handle the power so i thought that maybe i should buy some old 400cc like a cb400 or something and put a little bit of money to make it "stuntable" just to practice, or should i just make the 1000cc bike in to a stunt bike, or change to a 600cc if so is the f4i or the r6 better?

Please i need to know i really wanna start learning really fast but i don't want to make the cbr1000rr into a stunt bike and then figure out that its to big and i cant use it!

any advise is welcome!

Get the f4i, especially if your learning. I'd go w a Sick cage and a OMR subcage, but that's my opinion

Re: I need some advise!!!

its odd you say that cause i have my sixxers, one of which is gonna be my stunter and my dad suggested getting a gpz550 to learn on! i think an older bike like a cb400 especially if you used to ride back in the day would be a really cheap way to learn but i think it would be a lot easier on an older kawi 636/honda f4 or f4i, but you can learn on your cbr its just expensive if you were to break anything and definitely go with omr for the subcage

THE ORIGINAL FOLDING SUBCAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh and i believe the risk for expensively breaking your own body would be higher on a cbr 1000

Re: I need some advise!!!

well, i don't want to crash my cbr since is kind of expensive, so you guys think i should just trade my cbr1000 to a f4i or 636?, I love the power in the cbr but i cant handle it when doing a wheelie it's to rough too! if i would learn to do some proper stunts on a smaller bike and then move on to my cbr would it be easier then?

Well!!!

i wouldnt trade a, im guessing new cbr for an older bike to beat up but save up an look for a good deal on a f4i/636 usually between 1500-3000$ and have both bikes, you can stunt a 1000 but i just wouldnt start on it

I just bought the cbr for 300,000Thai Baht, thats like 8,500$ and i looked at some f4i's they are like 4000$ in Thailand i don't have an extra 4000$ right now... so i guess i just have to trade or rebuild my cbr1000,

Re: I need some advise!!!

i have an 03 r6 and an 03 f4i both stunt bikes. I learned on the r6 and then picked up my f4i and i like it alot better. its more forgiving and a much better stunt bike, especially if you are learning. Keep your 1000 as your nice bike and get the f4i for cheap and make it work.

Re: I need some advise!!!

I bought the GSXR600,, and i ordered a sick cage and i'm building my own sub cage, +10 sprocket size and new handlebars... i think that should do it... i'll post some picks when everything is set.
