Tire pressure

does tire pressure play a big deal in wheelie stability? i doubt riding with low pressure makes the bike handle well at all but i've watched a few videos with guys riding no-handed wheelies with low pressure...wanted to know if there's a correlation there or not.

Re: Tire pressure

maybe a little easier to keep it straight when you're learning...

Yeah i agree. I am learning slow wheelies and i took a few pounds out of the max pressure and it helped me go straighter for sure. Id like to run as much pressure as possible though cause im sure the japanese guys who turbine circle wheelies have hard tires.

as far as going straight goes, i switched from a back street to a parking lot... so now going straight isn't as important.

Re: Tire pressure

if you're catching idle....drop the psi on down to like 10-15 just to play around with it and get used to balancing...then start bumping it back up.
