Tire Pressure
Tire Pressure
I know we've gone over this a million times, but.... I know what tire pressure y'all run when stunting. But is that the same tire pressure you run on the road? I currently run stock tire pressure for everything (including 12's), but I really wanna drop it a bit.
pressure
Depends on how much turning you do. and the setup of your bike. I have been messing with different pressures but I always raise it back up to go carve some corners. The thing is slugg-like with low pressure.
Low enough that the tire gets warm. Some stunts are pretty low speed, so lower pressure gets it to stay warm. Especially when it gets cold outside, you've still gotta have a warm front tire if you want it to stick. Yes, I've run like 5 before. But itfill back up before you hit the freeway, and take it easy over potholes, etc with really low pressures.
My rear tire generally gets warm enough even at stock pressure, so that's where I leave it.

Re: Tire Pressure
Everyone has their own pressure they they develop over time, as you may need to chenge due to surface conditions, angles ect but lower = more stability.AS U ALREADY KNOW!! i like 18 rear but also depending on the tire, different tires feel different at the same pressure, I usually start at 28 and work my way down till i feel comfy..
Hence personal preference!
