98zx6r sprocket question

im planning on getting new sprockets and a chain and i wanted to know anybody knew if it would still be cruisable. i have like a 45 min. commute to school which consists of about 30 minutes of highway riding and i was wondering how much it will be affected. im planning on getting 14 front and 45 in the back.

You'll be fine on the highway with that combo, I got 14/60 on my 07 and ride everywhere top speed is like 105 with this gearing.

Re: 98zx6r sprocket question

+ 5 rear is 10% off top end and they say that +10 is the max for street riding. But im not a sprocket expert that is jus what I saw on the internet.
