Hey , I have a '91 GSXR 1100 and I love it! I love wheeling it but i am scared of falling back and breaking my neck, i am working on it and riding them pretty good now but i had a few questions maybe you guys could answer. I was wondering if I was to make myself a wheelie bar, i should bolt it to the subframe, but would it comprimise the structural integrity of my bike? don't really want to **** it up to bad you know... also i want to get new sprockets for easier wheelies whould i go down one tooth in front and two teeth in back or could i just leave the back alone? Would going down 2 up front and 4 down back be better? Or even bring ing the back up a few teeth. How much would it affect my acceleration and top speed? thanks for the responses, Ride on...
you go down teeth in the front and up teeth in the back to improve you low end torque. You can usally go up a few teeth in back without changing your stock chain and compromising too much "real world" top end speed...you'd have to ask a dealer or someone familar with your bike how much of a gearing change the bike could handle still utilizing the stock components and go from there.
