Well clutching is the way to go. but some sites advice to learn power in first cause they r betting that the new rider will close the throttle as soon as the bike comes up, and after a while, when he gets used too the feel, he can start to clutch them. But if u want to power in first OMR gave u the right technique. He knoes what he s talking about.

i got a 2003 r1 can clutch it or power it.easyest way to learn to power it is the faster your going the less it will rise.
mine at 50mph will only rise small.say at 50 on mine snap the thottle a quarter of a turn quicky an up it comes.
at 25mph same quarter turn ,rises right up high can roll on more an keep it rising or feather it keep goin then rise it up some more.
so pactice quicker speed 1st snap throttle a quarter turn as qick as you would flick a bogey (or snot?) off you finger lol.as it lifts roll back off slow then back on.
i can power or clutch both are as consistance each time either way its just practice

Take it easy man, if i m still a beginer it doesn t mean i cant give an opinion, i m not teaching the guy, i m just saying that many awsome stunter posted that in the begining they used to power, and it seems logical cause on power u have to think fo the throttle wich makes things less complicated, it may not the way to go in the end but it s not wrong to experiment with it before clutching, if u r a better rider doesn t mean that u r smarter, about the gas tank thread, a lot of riders agreed that the extra weight did affect the bike. So...

Your right, just wanted to make a point. That with diversity there s a cultural clash especially that there s no minorities here, weak goverement and everybody is armed, with one of the group better armed than an army. Last weak we had a war cause the Gov. wanted to relocated an officer in the army.
