i find bouncing the forks on my dt125x is the best way to get the front up, probably makes less power than your 250 and i can lift it in second gear using this method. I am **** at wheelies though so im probably giving the wrong advice. i can change up to 4th gear on the back wheel but from what ive read i shouldnt be doing this and im a squid etc etc. i have been workin on keeping it in the same gear though and can do the length of my local trading estate in 3rd gear (20-25mph-ish). so ye try bouncing the forks

yea, and dont drop the 250. my sister dropped mine and broke the frame where the rearset bolts into... only second time the thing had ever been dropped and it was only at like 20 mph... good thing i know good welders!
