all of the sudden i cant clutch the bike up in 2nd anymore. No matter how fast or slow i go i cant do it. when i first got the bike up and running it was no prob. the bike is also geared in the back. which i hate by the way ive been wheeling for a few years so i know its not me. Any thoughts on this?

joes im gonna try to answer this question first before you get ripped apart for being a squid. lmao cause its gonna happen since u dropped this question. theres about 18 other posts from people asking the same thing. its almost guaranteed unless im a ******* moron which i am. its your clutch if one day you can clutch up and the next you cant and u claim its not you, your probably smoked a clutch. best way to test it is in a high gear accelerate fast and if ur rpms climb faster than they should and ur not increasing speed as fast as u should, or high gear and get on the brakes and stay on the gas if the rpms keep going up.... clutch. and still it could be just a small enough slip that it doesnt do that and just cant pull the wheel up...

 

i assumed it was the clutch but it doesnt slip in any gear

 

go into 6th gear at 50mph and give it wide open throttle, it should jump a few rpms with out gaining any speed

 

clutch is fried, smell your oil, if it smells like a stable of bucking horses then you know its done!
