set your rear suspension on the highest set on the collar, then pre-load the front suspension as much as possible.

take that screw out of the clipons that keep it firm on the tripple tree, loosen them adjust them out as far as possible( not much but it helps) tighten it back up, and do work!

Re: Setup 4 a 05 R6

my 05 is predominantly stock.

sprockets are -1/+2, race railz, straight pipe.... clip-on's, filter and thats it. still very tame looking, and very much streetable. bike can be lifted vertical from a standstill, and has no problem on idle.

Re: Setup 4 a 05 R6

you can do slow stunts with any setup if your good enough, my 05 R6 is -1 in front +6 in back but thats a lil low for street ridin but i do both, if i was you go up 6 in rear and stay stock in back then when you wanna do more lot stuff go down one in front, its not a wheelie bar its a 12 bar and if you wanna learn stoppies you should wait till you get really good at those till you put it on.

i'm not sure what that suspension setup will do for ya i can't remember how i have mine set but for street riding if its too soft in the rear your bike will wobble while on one, i do a lot of 2up stunting so mine is pretty stiff but not all the way, and pretty sure i have a lot of preload but not all the way up either, idk maybe i'll try that myself and see what happens, i roll stoppies for 150+ and wheelie for miles so i might just leave it the way i have it who knows

Re: Setup 4 a 05 R6

yeah sell it and be like everyother stunter out there with a F4I or 636.... yeah **** that the R6 is a Sick bike and myself i'd rather use something unique and different than what everyother person is using, i hate how everyone who stunts has to have the same exact bike, you can make any bike stronger against falls, or just take your time and dont crash as much.

Re: Setup 4 a 05 R6

don't listen to these bandwagon queenz. I been rockin my r6 killin it for about a year now, and I still have failed to change the oil!

mybe I should do that this week actally.

but the bike is perfect, only 1 down... 2 up, and killer balance.

be different, don't be a lemming!
