Re: Shindy Master Cylinder

it sucks cause replacement levers are $40..

Go for a OEM master off a gsxr600-1000, or some other bike with a radial master stock..
Then you only gotta spend $15-$20 for lever replacements :YEAH

Re: Shindy Master Cylinder

We offer a variety of different master cylinders on our website, we have the base model brembos, the shindy clutch and brake masters are on there and we also offer the Brembo in 16*18 and 19*18 with or without folding levers.... Don't be afraid to call the shop with any questions that you may have!!

Thanks,
Tice

Re: Shindy Master Cylinder

just cut the lever so it can't hit the ground and then it won't break

Re: Shindy Master Cylinder

I got the brembro 16x18 master from hai and fell in love. I have never had the ***** to scrape hc's with one finger on the brake lever, now I can do it with my eyes closed. this master kicks ***!!!!!!! well it did for a week until I wrecked a circle and busted the lever so bad that it ripped the plunger right out of the cylinder. I thought I just destroyed the thing but hai has came to my rescue and got me a rebuild kit for 46 bucks well worth it. If I had cut the lever like roger said it wouldnt have broken.(its cut now)

right now I am using an 05 cbr 1000rr radial master and I like it a lot but it aint got **** on the brembro.

I put a brand new shindy master on a friends 954 for his front brake and he liked it so there ok.

i love the feel of the radial masters tho its worth the extra loot for me

Still can hit in the right fall..

I had mine cut WAY short.. It just barley stuck out past my clutch lever, yet it still hit..

my next hard drop took out my msr raptor

edit: then again I got dirt bike bars without bar ends... might be my problem

Re: Shindy Master Cylinder

I got a shindy....on an f4i.... and I need to change to something else.... I'm runnin stock clipons.....and While I CAN get the brake and clutch levers close to each other (easy to reach with index finger clutch...and middle finger brake...... HB under Clutch )

I cannot get the ROTATION correct ....they are too high (forcing me to bend my wrist back too far ....especially when doing standups )

I've done grinding and clearancing to get that little extra...but it's not enough...

Anyone know what M/C I should get to fix this issue ? greatly appreciated

oh...btw...the shindy DOES have a nice pull, feel, and strength (two fingers locks up rear wheel with Ho hey setup....One finger almost barely locks it up )(one finger seems to be plenty for RB control on wheelies)( but Im just learning and not rockin coasters or nothin....so IDK if it's enough for Sick braking )
