The sight is a little slow with replies sometimes. It all depends what your personal preference is. Ideally, if you've got mates that have different set ups you could test their rides and different set ups and make your decision. That's a luxury few of us have.

But apart from that they sound like a sick set up with more than enough power. And your right in spending the cash and getting it done right the first time. You don't want to buy some shitty junction vavle or extra line.

Re: What's the best hand break setup

welcome to the forum! like Sparky88 said its about preference, i know doing it right the first time is the best way to do something but in different stunt aspects like getting a 60 tooth sprocket to stunt vs a stock sprocket to stunt, everyone is different. you just have to get involved and ask around. look on this forum for some ideas. i dont use a dual hand brake cause i got used to covering my foot brake and found BP, just practice and you'll get there

Thanks man I appreciate it....the only part that sucks about not knowing people to ride with who have skill is you don't really know if your doing things the correct way or get pointers to get better having someone to learn from helps thousands

Re: What's the best hand break setup

If you want to do it right get a good master like a Magura 195 13m left side master with long lever, Ho hey or other dual caliper bracket, 4 piston caliper for handbrake, and stock for foot brake.
Use Motul RBF brake fluid bled properly and you will be golden.

You also need an RSC clutch lever if you don't have one already.

DARKS1D3 is right though, focus on the foot brake first.

Re: What's the best hand break setup

Newbies on f4i's can get away with just a cage and sprocket kit.( 12bar recommended so u dont destroy your tail.
Sprocket size depends on what kind of riding u plan on going. Parking lot, highway, or both.
If money isn't an issue get an aftermarket fairing stay and subcage. You don't need to worry about a handbrake setup and bashing in your tank right away. There's plenty of basics to learn.
