What psi to run..?
Re: What psi to run..?
put a 180 tire on, and replace tires with 180's, they are meant to be like that and they are alot cheaper than 190's
always run about 20 psi....tire guage it if you have to. Learnt hat way and you won't have to unlearn your bad habits when you go to learn it right.
get a 2nd idle cable and search the threads for the "600rr" or "f4i" "idle mod" and follow the directions, you'll only break off the stock one since it will only turn up to a point then stop and snap after you try to turn it farther. A 900RR/f2/f3 idle cable would be the best! Plus it runs your idle for all 4 cylinders, nt a feul-air mixture for cylinders 3 and 4 like the stock one.
And you have to find the balance point for yourself, its not really a "point" as much as it is an area you FEEL!
Focus on using your rear brake, make sure you get a good cage (sickinnovations or mxd are both pretty good for the 600RR).
regearing your bike a lil would help a bit, but don't go overboard....-1 front/+6rear or -2 front/+6 rear would be good....maybe -1 front/+10 rear at the most! That way you can still ride on the street without the bike being unbearable!
Take it slow and don't try to rush it.
