Z400's scrape bar?

Hey does any1 know about the z's scrape bar? It looks like its all one piece of the frame. If I scrape it 2 hard will it bend the frame? If so could I make it stonger some how? could any 1 help me with this?

get a piece of 3x12 flat stock & weld it to the bar. thing will glide down the road. same rear frame style as the 400ex

I ALSO WELDED ANGLE IRON ON THE TOP OF THE BOR TO KEEP IT FROM BENDING.
