Help With The Purchase Of a Blaster..
Hey guys I'm new here, Currently I was looking at buying a 1996 Yamaha Blaster. The bike is also coming with a 92 blaster for parts no pretty much just the frame and crap on that one... Anyhow he just took it out of hibernation today and started it up... It drives buy it takes a while to take off if you just give it gas she revs up... In order to get it to moved you gotta give it gas real easy. Anyhow other than that the back brakes are done and where the front pipe connects to the back pipe (The section that slides into each other) is loose as well.
So with all that said my friend seems to think that the problem with the throttle and revving seems to be clutch related (anyone have advice).
He was 1200$ for the bike and he would get the "Clutch problem Fixed"
Also i forgot that he just replaced the piston in the thing cause the other one broke near the base...
Is this a good deal or will i be having major problems down the road?
Thanks in Advance!

Re: Help With The Purchase Of a Blaster..
Well its mostly for trail riding... But he got the clutch fixed all the seals replaced... Bikes running amazing he sent it away for an overhaul.. anyways for the 1200$.. im going to buy the thing. See what happens i really don't mind putting money into them and apparently the parts are cheap as hell. I plan on putting money into it and fixing it up.
