question about a '96 polaris 300
looking for some help...the center chain (the one that goes from the trans forward, then connects to the chain that goes to the front wheels)
long story short, i'm trying to put the center chain back on, and the book says to install the rear sprocket and front sprocket with chain at the same time. no matter what i do, there always seems to be a about an 1/8th of inch difference to not getting in on. Is there some way to adjust this chain, or am I doing something wrong. The rear spocket has the back brake on it, but I don't see any adjustment there.
any help would be great, or maybe even point me in the right direction!
Thanks

ok look you see how the front axle (where the bearing housing is in the front and rear.... ok if you loosen the clamps on the whole housing and turn it with a pipe wrench the axle isnt centered so either way u turn it its gonna tighten or loosen the chain so there are 3 adjustments the rear axle... front and center chain adjust as well all turn so tinker till you get both chains on... leme kno if you understand that or need more help
