no i would send you the money since i trust you - you would get the bow from the guy and give him the money, then ship it to me - all expenses paid on my part and some $ for your trouble ... i just don't know about sending a money order to someone

I might be able to do that, he's about 1-2 hours out from me.

I'm busy the next four weekends. Would he be up for a weekday?

You know a money order is more secure than Paypal, right? For some jet ski parts I had to send a money order because the guy selling the parts got screwed by Paypal. If the person who screws you with Papal clears out their account, Paypal won't give you the money owed to you.

You have no recourse with a money order.

You have no recourse with paypal if the person immediately withdraws it either. Do a google search for horror stories about paypal if you don't believe me. I got fucked out of $25 once for an engine fan that was never sent. Guy cleared out his account and paypal only reimburses with funds from the sellers account. If the account is empty, you get hosed.

You got lucky that the guy didn't empty out his account. I always empty out my paypal account immediately. That way if they lie and say I never sent a part they can't get paypal to remove the funds from my account.

I call bullshit. I bought a fan for a truck off ebay. The guy fucked me and didn't send anything. I got a message that the dispute was ruled in my favor, but that they couldn't recover the funds. I was just out the money.

an aluminum bolt would be too weak , i use rubber mounted sliders
