What's the CRF worth? That boat is barely worth $3500. It's 21 years old and needs upholstery work.

$2000-$2300. I figure I'd offer him the $800 difference between the boat and the CRF that NADA pricing is indicating. Any input on the type of boat? I know you can't see **** from the pics, but any information of the make/type of boat?

Sea Ray is a good mid range brand. I prefer a rear bench seat with sun pad. This boat has the rear seats beside the motor. That gives you a little more room in the boat and seating for an extra person but 2 will have to face backwards. But that's good if you're doing any towing. The mercruiser replacement parts are cheaper than the volvo ones and easier to get. When you go to check it out, look for soft spots in the floor. Usually boats that need interior work were left uncovered. Water could have damaged the floor and possibly the stringers underneath. Have him run the motor while you check all around the block and exhaust manifolds for leaks. A lot of people **** up winterizing and crack ****. That's all I can think of at the moment.

My windshield is a little loose in one spot but it doesn't seem to bother anything.

He basically said that if the windshield is loose that sometimes it is impossible to get it tight again.

It's just screwed through fiberglass. Either a screw fell out or the hole is stripped. Neither are un-fixable.
