+1 if you're not gonna add a power commander and remap the computer go back to the paper filter. I added a PCIII and a K&N and it was great but one without the other is pointless......

The 929 actually makes less power with the K&N vs. the factory filter. Even with a power commander.

It probably wasn't anything to do with the filter. My bike was up 18 hp with exhaust and power commander. I've seen a few different 929s on forums that were dynoed back to back with K&Ns and stock filters. They were all down 1-2 hp. I can't imagine the 954 is much different.

oh man that looks awesome. we'll probably get there real late. its roughly 12 hours driving, and those ******** in pennslyvania close the interstate in the middle of the day for road construction, adding even more hours

well I put a Ariens bolt-on, K&N, and PCIII with a map for that specific set up on all at once......it was definitely more power and much smoother.....

edit.....just saying it's hard to tell what added what since i did it all at once....
