It hasn't been nearly as cold. That cold snap last year that for one day gelled up my fuel set a recdord that was 18 years old.

My guess is 15% of the toal opening would be open. Plus if the heater heats the objects and not the air it shouldn't make a difference. I had to keep unplugging the kerosene heater because I was starting to sweat.

it's still on a thermostat which means the air in the garage will not get warmer

Not at all. I haven't been home half the winter, but I haven't seen a temp below 9 all year. It was only in the 10-20 range for about a week.

That sounds like a poor control system. An adjustable cycle timer would be more appropriate.

Probably closer to $35. We used 1/2-3/4 of a tank. I think it holds 8 galoons. Kerosene is around $6 a gallon I think.

I still plug it in at night. It warms up faster that way and it is on a timer to come on at 4am and turn off at 8am so it doesn't waste too much electricity.

Ours are numbered but I only have 7 servers so it's not a big deal to remember them.

when hackers look for servers to crack, the first name they try is spock, so dont do somethign like that

Are all of yours in the same location? Here, servers and network devices are named by their location and business unit. So we can tell exactly where it is and who owns it without having to look it up. We have tens of thousands, and that works well. Every time we buy up a small company and assimilate their stuff, we find they always name their **** after simpsons characters, nerd-cult movie characters, and thinly disguised references to female body parts. Yes, thats real common lol.
