My wife says the same thing all the time. She works from home so when I get home and use the bathroom, I call her out on the skid marks in the toilet.

Leaving for Juarez on Sunday....

 

At this point I don't put up a fight when they want me to go, I'm racking up the frequent flyer miles and hotel reward points.

Juarez is shady. Murder rate is high there and female murder rate is even higher. I was there for cinco de mayo in 2001 because I was conducting a seminar for Physcian's in El Paso for the company I was working for. Hertz told us we couldn't take our rental car there but we took the keys and went straight there.

No **** man that place is fucked up. When we rolled in, a bunch of kids layed under our tires at a stop light. A guy I was with said "I got this guys, I've been here before" Then he threw a handfull of change across the street and the kids got up and ran after it and we could drive again. The light had changed twice in that time and nobody behind us seemed to care. Some guy at the restaruant we went to recommended that we pay him to watch our car for us. We thought it sounded like a good idea looking around at all fucked up cars so we gave him 5 bucks american and came out to him wiping it down for us after being ther for 3 hours.

Worst part is I am getting fat from all the company purchased beer and food. Back to the gym when I get back from this (hopefully) last trip.
I always lie to the rental car place. It is now the most dangerous city in the world. Even more dangerous then all current war zones.

 

Last time I was there there were two guys performing at the stop light. One had a towl full of broken beer bottles. He would lay down the towl and glass, lay on it with no shirt, and the other guy would do hand spring flips over his buddy. I had to give him a few pesos because that **** was pretty impressive.

May I ask why you are going there for work? I.E. what precisely will you be doing?

 

I can't stand people that ******* come to work sick. This ******* chick behind me only calls out on Mondays or Fridays, so she came in yesterday sick as **** and told me "I'm gonna get you sick hurhurhur". What do ya know? I'm sick as a ************ right now and my 3 day weekend is ruined.

 

I would be willing to be that she got you sick before yesterday anyway so chances are you couldn't avoid it. Just sayin...
