You won't be able to get in on it. You have to have owned and registered the car for at least a year.

You take an old piece of **** in and buy a new vehicle and they'll give you $3500-$4500 for it on trade. The vehicle has to be less than 30 years old, get less than 18 mpg average and 5 mpg less than the new one for the $3500 or 10mpg less for the $4500. Your old car will be crushed and recycled.

Might use Lacey's sister's car which has been in her dads name for long enough. Give her sister lacey's civic.

They're trying to get gas hogs off the road and boost the economy at the same time. The program is already out of money. Supposedly more will be added.

I like the idea of this program but the one thing they should have done is restricted it to new GM, Ford, and Chrysler vehicles. No sense in sending this money to Japan.

So I'll ask and take the ****......how should I have adjusted my clutch to prevent frying it.......I think I took the slack out when I got it.......now I know that's wrong......so I want a little slack and how often do I need to check/adjust it??

And I have been rough on it......I beat that lil bike pretty good and am rough on the clutch........steep climbs and deep mud.......plus I use it as my practice wheelie bike and I don't clutch it up well so it has taken a lot of abuse.....

so have at it....

You want to adjust it whenever it feels too loose. There should be just a little bit of movement of the lever without moving the cable. Basically you need to be positive it is fully engaged.

Most of the suppliers are from here? I know they are assembled here which is good for the workers but profits still go to overseas companies. The big three are failing. Why not push that money towards them. The only reason foreign vehicles are assembled here is to avoid tariffs and ****. That's most likely not going to change.

yes you want a small amount of slack ... i've never had to touch a clutch on a bike unless i bought it screwed up ... years of wheelies and burnouts and abuse on the f4i and the clutch was always fine ... they shouldn't fry that easy unless you are completely riding it or you adjusted it so tight that it's like you are constantly riding it

All bikes with cable clutches need to be adjusted. I'm not sure about hydraulic clutches. I've never had one.

Yep. I speak from experience. Before I left my last job (we supplied all the "foreign" makers besides the big 3) I had to set up our new supply facility in Alabama - which is where kia and hyundia assembly was done - and it was in a huge supplier park ... I will support ford. GM - **** them they got what they deserved. Chrysler produced so much junk - besides rams/jeeps and a few other vehicles.
