My Aunt and Uncle from MD have their 40' class A motorhome parked at my parent's house right now. That thing is gangster. Granite counter tops, oak cabinets, 42" tv and a big Cat diesel.

I hear that the cheaper kinds of the autodarkening masks don't darken fast enough to protect your eyes. My thoughts:
1.It might be true for a professional welder who is welding every day all day, but for the casual user you should be fine.
2. It's all BS propoganda spread by the makers of the expensive masks to try to justify why their masks are 3-5x the price of the entry level masks.

Yeah, 2002.

That might be sweet but I really want 3 rows of seats with storage behind the rear seat. If I'm going to go for it, I might as well go all the way. That means suburban or excursion. The only way I would get an excursion is if I could find a diesel that wasn't ridiculously expensive.

i was just thinking that might work for her to drive since its a foot narrower than the avalanche or a sub.

If theres one beast that doesnt depreciate like the rest, its the 7.3 excursion. Good luck. And then good luck keeping the fuel from freezing.

Check out the Flex. Not sure if it has enough ground clearance for Maine though.

The fuel is cut heavily with kerosene up here in the winter. There are a ton of diesels on the road. Plus there's this **** you put in when you fill up that helps. You only need a couple ounces per tank.

Way too much money for what it is. Plus there are no used ones yet. I'm looking to spend around $20K.

edit: Oh yeah, they're ******* hideous too.
