Man people are dumb. I made a joke in Mike's brake thread about 4 piston and 2 piston engine brakes and the two guys that responded completely missed it.

What I did:
Strap in and grab the handle. Sit in the water perpendicular to the boat with the board 25-50% out of the water, *** to ankles and arms inside knees with knees spread out a bit.

Once the boat started to pull me and the board started producing some whitewater (as they were rolling on the throttle) and keeping my arms extended I would straighten my front leg keeping the back leg mostly bent and my weight over/behind my back foot. Once I felt that they were into the throttle and the board was starting to plane I would pull myself up and bring my arms in while putting more weight on my front foot.

That's what I'm going to try this year. My buddy is completely out of the water before he turns the board. He's also like 150 lbs.

I tired, but it didn't work. We weren't going that fast. The boat wasn't very powerfull. You really need at least 300hp. Wear a helmet.

My boat is 135hp and I could pull people into the mid to high 30s with no trouble. You only need to go 20-21 mph.
