those suck ... my dude has a malibu i think ... it halls ... fill both bladders up and load the rear with people ... mad wake ... a tower with speakers and a perfect pass so the speed is consistent ...

timing is everything - i stilll have trouble going progressive with the edge ... read some **** on wakeboarder.com it helps ...

wakeboarding is more of a workout then maxing out on back, bench, squats, and deadlifts same day lol .. i am always drained and sore as hell afterwords

From what I've read, the main thing to getting a good pop off the wake is cutting super hard all the way through it. Don't level off just before you jump. You need the line loaded as much as possible.

I only tried about 10 minutes last year but I couldn't get up on the damn thing. I've got a few things working against me. I weigh 260 lbs, my boat is a 4 cyl., and I don't have a tower, my tow point is just above the water. I will get it figured out at some point.

Ours was a deckboat with a homemade "tower". It was a cut up section of aluminum pipe from a pool solar cover reel. It was secured with 4 motorcycle tiedowns and a piece of 2"x8"

Your boy has some loot then. Those boats aren't cheap. My legs weren't sore, just my arms and core muscles.

It's just like a skateboard. For some you even wear skate shoes. I don't know if I would be any good at it since I sucked at skateboarding.
