here is an example, blood readings when i ate shitty and then healthy and after i quit smoking, bad cholesterol was lower, good cholesterol was higher ....

5 years ago eating like garbage with no supplementation:
Fasting Glucose: 84
Triglycerides: 93
Cholesterol: 151
HDL: 36
LDL: 96

August of '09 (greens, fish oil, multi, clean diet for about 6 months):
Glucose: 79

Triglycerides: 105 mg/dl
Cholesterol: 150 mg/dl
LDL: 78 mg/dl
HDL: 52 mg/dl

Now it may look confusing because my trigs went up slightly but the trigs/hdl ratio is better which is really the most important thing ...

Alright so I checked out about a dozen infra red grills at 3 different stores. They all have a regular burner at the bottom, and then a flame diffuser right above that. but not a little 2 inch wide one like regular grills, i mean one that completely blocks flame from being able to touch the food. Then on top of that they each had another heat diffusing part, some were steel and some were ceramic tiles. The simpler designs, such as the non domed CharBroil could easily work on a regular gas grill. But that wasnt for sale separately of course.

Even though most infrared burners do have temperature control, low on an infrared burner is still hotter than a regular burner on high and is no good for cooking low and slow needed for large cuts....

Open the lid or turn on the left side burner only and cook the meat on the right side. I had no problem cooking up some filets.

im thinking about converting one third of my grill to IR. From what I just read its real easy on the simpler ones, but they're a pain in the *** to clean.
