hmm, think it might be restricting too much? How do those work anyway? Im gonna google that instead of taking mine apart prematurely

 

learned a few things:

mine appears to be a combination valve which contains a metering valve and a proportioning valve. The metering valve stops the fronts from coming on until the line reaches a certain pressure, so that the rear shoes will have time to make contact first. The proportioning valve restricts pressure to the rears because rears do less work and i read that drums require less line pressure because of the way the rear shoe gets pushed into the drum by its rotation. I also read that the proportioning valve in the combination is not adjustable

have fun sellin that. with my friends whove tried to sell heavily customized (to the point of no longer being useful lol) vehicles, ive noticed the only people that really want to buy it are 19 yr old kids who only have $350 and their grandmas civic on 16s to trade.

 

I've gotten quite a few decent trade offers for newer body trucks, but im lookin for something older... not really trying to sell or trade it just keeping the option open...
