Re: Your spot
and i got a new one ive been workign on unsuccessfully. i wheelie off a curb, and jump to spreader as it goes down. In the SS position you can wheelie off curbs and down stairs all day because it balances low, which keeps the tail high. Spreaders balance high, and my little bar hits the curb a little and it throws me off balance for a second.

Re: Your spot
thats how i do it every time, i have this little sidewalk i ride up on to, spin it around on the kickstand, then do my thing
Re: Your spot
hey John while youre here, i got a question. Do you run high quality tires or regular take offs? I noticed the speed and angle of your circles, my tire washed out way before that point
Re: Your spot
I dont buy new rears like a lot of other fast circle guys, i deal with what i can get my hands on for free or cheap... but i DO look for better tires... ill take a Pilot power with a plug/patch on it ANYDAY!!!
every tire is different, try different pressures to find traction. also, moving your body around lets you find places that let you get better traction without washing... it's trial and error mostly, just push gradually and most of the time, if you are lucky, you will feel the tire start to squirm before it lets go...
Tires i like to try to find and use:
Any Michelin
Dunlop 218s and if i have to 208s even though they have a little less traction
(havent tried a qualifier yet but everyone seems to love them)
some tires i try i atually HATE and take them off and save them for shows to blow up or for when i know im going to practice burnouts, lol

On my m1, it always stays tight. Gets real fast and real low but not wide enough. My dunlop bike, will go wide, but washes out all the time. **** that thing.
**** both of them, im getting some new rears so i can pull that excuse off th wheel
