i could do without sonic....it was nice in mass because there was a dunkin donuts on every street corner...but no quiktrips. i love quiktrip. i used to only get my gas there, and now if i want to i have to drive 20-30 minutes for the closest one

 

manhattan is cool, huge buildings, no plant life, but its still cool. the amount of people walking down the sidewalk on any given street is in the thousands

bronx is dirty, but interesting. every 2 blocks, the language changes. and its not just english and spanish either, pretty much every country that ever existed in europe is represented. almost all of them are bad at night

SI is a dump that goes to jersey, thats about it

brooklyn has character, lots of ethnic ghettos, but not all are bad

queens is pretty much a black/hispanic only version of brooklyn, with a couple rich white neighborhoods on the north shore

Worked on my caliper bracket a bit last night. I cut and grinded the piece that the caliper bolts to out of 1/4" steel.

Tonight I'll work on the piece that bolts to the oem caliper bracket, and then this weekend they'll go to my welding and metal fab sponsor - Cursed Metalworks.

When I get it back, Im going to heat treat it for hardness, for no other reason than I like using the torch, and I like steam too. then I will double check the holes and fitting, and amend if necessary. Then it will go off to the paint sponsor Cursed Paintworks for a nice coat of flat black. So by sunday it should be on my bike.

 

no i just went out and smoked a small bowl, well small for me, i guess it wasnt really that small. I feel a littl ebetter now, but im sure it'll be back as soon as the high wears off. Im supposed to go to the chiro today after work. That dude cracks my neck and I dont get headaches for a week. He was down at bike week for 2 weeks so I havent gotten any adjustments in a while.

 

I think i am gonna start going to the chiro

go try out a bunch of them, some are better than others

also, the main reason i go to my guy is because he's free. If you have insurance, he never charges the co-pay. He just bangs the insurance company for their share, and by doing this he gets twice as much repeat business as his competitors. Look for a place that does it that way, theyre out there.

 

hmmm ... how did you find him? just call and say would you be willing to only charge my insurance?
