Your spot
Re: Your spot
at this time my workshop facilities are very limited and its a hassle for me to make even this one
If it works well I'll commission dbounce or somebody to manufacture them cheaply
Re: Your spot
wonder if i could get someone around here to cnc one from your mockup
Re: Your spot
he could easily make them, but he doesnt want to guess at a price quote until i have a prototype finished
and then what cost?
Re: Your spot
Hmmm ... I was gonna have my ortho look at my back when I went in for my shoulder again in 2 weeks before I went to a chiro but maybe its worth a shot.
Re: Your spot
i'll work on finding someone to do it cheap also
Re: Your spot
Re: Your spot
so far it seems that it can easily be made by welding 2 precut pieces of 1/4" x 1-1/2" steel together. thats pretty cheap if you have welding capability
If i were to go the cnc route, id also want to look into using aluminum, which id want to be double the thickness

Re: Your spot
Oh, and get this.. Any time I think I might have broken something, but am not sure, I go to him. I WILL NOT go to hospitals. Sitting in one place all day without a computer or vagina is torture. No matter where the possible broken bone is, I go to my chiro. He x rays it, then x rays my spine, and bangs the insurance company for it.

Re: Your spot
yeah i was thinking cnc aluminum
Re: Your spot
assuming this makes any master feel like a brembo 16, how much do you think people would pay for nice looking machined ones? I cant imagine more than a hundred bucks. That dude ho hey sold a grip of his first run of double caliper brackets, then he hasnt sold any since the first week.

Re: Your spot
and i got a new one ive been workign on unsuccessfully. i wheelie off a curb, and jump to spreader as it goes down. In the SS position you can wheelie off curbs and down stairs all day because it balances low, which keeps the tail high. Spreaders balance high, and my little bar hits the curb a little and it throws me off balance for a second.
