SKS action is similar to the Ak's from what I understand. Same dude designed them The K in each stands for his name, Klashnikov.

 

From looking at pictures I think it's a Remington 7400.

 

I don't really know, I called them and they signed on remotely......but I think those issues are being felt in most companies.....

 

Just because they jam if you get a spec of dirt in the wrong place doesn't mean they are crap. Just add a couple of bandaids like the cover and that thing that slams the bolt all the way closed and it kind of works in the field.

 

similar but not the same.....I would assume the tolerances of an AK, being full auto, with the additional gas tube, would effect accuracy, especially over time. My SKS was relatively new and is very accurate......and I don't use a scope either......

+1 HAHAHAHAHAHAH exactly.....the SKS/AK is basically 4 moving parts, the smallest being the size of a finger, the M16 has like 19 parts the smallest being the size of a piece of nerd candy.....as far as combat and reliability (which is what is ingrained as important in my mind) I'll take an SKS/AK.....
