Word. I'll go ask at the range/shop this week.

I understood "was ******* up some of the time changes on the shop's systems" The first part is a random jumble of computer lingo that means nothing, I am sure of it. You need to resplice the flux capacitor to the rotary girder.

Appreciate it. Hopefully the shop will let me hold the gun with a full mag.

.22 caliber is a light bullet and not a lot of power behind it. You might get 150 yards out of a .22 with decent accuracy but I can't see much more. What about like 30-30's or .308's? The police snipers use remington 700's don't they?

I have access to a remington .308, not sure what model though. I'll have to take that thing out with some sand bags and see how it does.

I love my SKS for accuracy and range.....I'll hit tagets easily out to 800 meters......and I've been known to hit as far away as 1200......I hate ar-15/M16.......too many lil gay *** parts and made by the cheapest bidder.....

it means that the consultant that set up novell/windows policies before i got here for the shop floor did a crap job - i've almost phased it all out but didn't get everything, now the dst updates won't work on those systems

Ever see slow motion video of an AK firing vs. an M16? It's funny as hell.

I agree with your assesment of a regular .22, but I have an older bolt action .22 mag that is an excellent target rifle......basically a longer shell/more gun powder.....

30-30/.308 are very similar to the 7.62 round an SKS fires.......

Slap a decent scope on it and try it out.

it would be sweet if you had a fully functional test environment to test stuff like this before hand

nope.....but I'm not really talking about AK's as I have no expirience, i know SKS's and M-60's (now that's a hell of a weapon)

edit: oh and I know that POS M16, A1 and A2, inside and out, blind folded upside down in a tank of water.....it is an inferior weapon.....

yeah these are our win 2000 systems having the issues, but i believe the root cause is the legacy policy, not the os version
