Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!

Due to the diameter of the
rear wheel rotor no 4 piston caliper will fit completely on the rear
rotor wear pattern so we recommend you trim your pads.

- The 03-06 CBR 600RR , 03-05 Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
- The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
- THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
- All other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
- omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
And can I do the same with the F4izzle? Make a spacer for the rotor to use all the pad? Im really thinking about pickin up the new FTI bracket and itd be nice to use the whole pad on both calipers

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
not flush isn't really accurate , the fact that the caliper hits the wheel if you put it down low enough to use the whole pad is the real problem
Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
just saw neals post.
thats weird...so if you were to get a larger rear rotor (which one id need to use is beyond me) wouldnt it then cause the normal foot caliper to bind?
or roger, what if you were to trim...the caliper??

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
yes but it's no big deal , you can just run the pads for a few days and then you can see exactly where they need to be trimmed or you can just grind teh tops of the pads at an angle so when they wear they dont touch each other and cause your brakes to fail

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
the ho hey is already designed to put the caliper in a certain position so grinding the caliper wouldn't do any thing and yes a bigger rotor would require you to move the stock caliper out

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmmm so it should do the same if I get a spacer made for the F4i then right? Do you know off hand whats the size (diameter I guess) of the spacer? I know it'd be different for the F4i but just trying to get an idea in case I do decide to actually attempt it lol.
Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
yeah. what a pain in the dick. i guess ill just be trimming pads then.. so the issue untimately is not that the pads hit the rotor an an "angle" but that the rotor just dosent fill the caliper channel. got it.

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
adding a spacer wont work if you have the ho hey because the caliper is already in a fixed position

Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!
right and if you dont trimm the pads eventually the tops will touch and cancel out each other so trimming the pads before they wear too much is important
Re: Omr subcages !!!!!!!!!!!

i made a spacer for my rotor to move it out so i could put my caliper all the way down with out it hitting the wheel
