Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
any percentage is huge, it should never happen period. if you can't pay you lose it plain and simple. I missed that part in my contract that said well if you decide you want to pay less just stop paying and we will eventually settle with you so you can have your home for a ridiculous amount.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
Sure. Maybe those of us that pay the taxes for them deserve it more than the people that go on unemployment and milk the system while getting paid under the table, or all the low lifes that don't need food stamps but abuse it or trade them for drugs or have extra kids so they can get more.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
Where does that money come from? If you're giving everybody money, then everyone is paying for it. Only some is lost in the cost of getting that money turned around. That doesn't make any sense at all.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
Of all the people you know that own houses, how many have been in forclosure. It can't be that big of a percentage.
Estimates say by the end of 2008 it could be 4 percent of homes that were in forclosure this year. I don't consider that a huge percentage. 4 percent is not "everybody else".

if our gov't didn't waste any money we would have almost no national debt.

no it's not the insurance company, it's the mortgage company, wamu, they send letters that say "you need to get proper coverage for the increased value of your house" **** them - they want to say my home value has gone up 30 grand in the last 3 years lol, riiight .... but i am sure some of that is bullshit from fema too .....
the bank will always want you to have enough coverage to cover the cost of your house thats just common sense ...
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
You dont give everybody money indefinitely. Id say a year, maybe 2, then you're cut off. Just enough to help people get through a hard spot, not long for people to plan their life around. And I think everyone should get that years worth of $$, even if they dont need it.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
yes i know .... it's not homeowners, it's flood - two separate insurance entities, and I bought my house for 111 5 years ago, and the mortgage company is trying to say i need 160 in structure coverage, it doesn't take an economic wizard to figure out it is almost impossible for a home to have increased in value that much in this economy over the last 3 years.
Re: Omr Subcage !!!!!!!!!!!
You'd have less people paying in than receiving the money. That means you'd pay in more than you got back. How does that work? Does money just appear out of nowhere?
