I am not being hurt by what the banks give other people. I work with people that do less than me and are given more money. Is that different? I don't feel I'm entitled to get what some others do. Everyone cuts their own deal in life.

$25 for non commercial vehicles
Commercials vehicles pay by the axle, its like $30 for 2 axles

Do you pay excise tax on your vehicles to the town? That's what makes our registrations so much. My bike is $21 and truck is $3x (9900 GVW) for the actual registration.

You serious? It's a huge percentage. It's not just a mortgage default, there are many different options. You can stop paying and be in foreclosure and complete loan modification but that doesn't mean you defaulted or foreclosed.

Of all the people you know that own houses, how many have been in forclosure. It can't be that big of a percentage.

Estimates say by the end of 2008 it could be 4 percent of homes that were in forclosure this year. I don't consider that a huge percentage. 4 percent is not "everybody else".

yes
they keep saying my house value is going up (bullshit) and they keep raising my flood insurance rates which causes and escrow increase. I am paying $100 more a month now than I was 5 years ago when I bought. Not to mention they won't drop the pmi - but if you base the value of my home on what they are requiring me to get covered for flood insurance I am way past 80% ltv so i qualify for dropping of pmi by their terms. Shady *****.
I also took a small pay decrease to switch jobs. But I save 2 grand in fuel and have better retirement and health coverage.

I know at least 8 people, niner just mentioned our one buddy that stopped paying and walked away with a house for 4 grand. Is the percentage really relevant?

Mike said everybody else was getting breaks, you said it was a huge percentage. I was just putting it in perspective.

If you think these people have it so good, stop paying your mortgage.
