Seriously, if it were me, and I was the president I would COMPLETELY take the internet down (except for important **** like banking, and companies that are already registered, etc etc) and COMPLETELY restructure the internet with EXTREMELY high security regulations.

The suburbs are cheap compared to chicago. The realestate rule for the burbs is " for half as much you get twice as much" I live here and I dont know what your talking about but chicago is just stupid expensive!!!! how bout 900/month rent on a 450sq ft studio apaartment that is 30 minutes OUTSIDE of downtown. Also our public transportation and parking costs in some areas surpassed NY as of budget changes in 2007. Chicago sucks for taxes cook county has taxes on everything, including a new 10cent tax on EVERY water bottle you purchase!!!
now back to the bigger question, why would a person want to live in a downtown area of a major city? the suburbs are where its at

Taxes are pathetic. The gov't needs to streamline taxes so it's only 1 tax. No more of this State/Fed tax. If I could look at my check and see that 1 tax came out I'd be fine with that but when I see that I'm taxed by like 8 different entities I get extremely frustrated.

-1 strongly disagree

people in areas with more public services should pay more taxes, or move

I'm not saying the internet won't be as useful but it will require that you identify yourself if you want to access websites that are considered malicious or suspect. Say Eric Harris or Dylan Kleebold (Columbine shooters) were required to enter in a driver's license # and/or some other information to specifically identify who they are I am willing to bet WITHOUT A DOUBT all of the information they found on the internet about guns, knives, tactical strategies, equipment, etc would have flagged many law enforcement agencies.

If you want to go to WebMD and search about an illness, fine. If you want to go to **** sites and search ****, fine. But if you want to specifically search Anarchies Cookbook or info about an SKS Semi-Automatic gun you should be required to identify WHO you are and at that point your information is then processed and you are either (A) granted access or (B) NOT.

Absolutely, but that should be figured by a per capita basis that use those public services. It's already done, that's would a census is for... if you live in a certain area that has a VERY high population and requires a much higher amount of public service employees then thats fine... pay 1 tax and then that's it.

That makes sense, but it will never happen. Your first statement made it sound like you wanted to completely get rid of the internet.

Re: Breakfast Club

I sympathize with farley on this bullshit. Everyone complains about listening in on fone conversations however I hav no problem with someone listening to my convos. Im not talkinga bout blowing up buildings so why the **** do i care if the government listens in. People will always find something to complain about just to be liberal for the hell of things... Me personally I'm a pretty conservative person in most respects, which is highly unusual for somoene my age!!!
