1-2 MPG if you dive the same, but an extra 10 or 15 HP and your have the thing matted more and more resulting in worse fuel milage.

That's got nothing on a 500cc 2 stroke or a top fuel car.

Re: Breakfast Club

the mods are proven to give better gas mileage, I have done alot of research on forums and everyone says the same thing. And I'm not talking about the manufactures garentee i mean people who have compared before and after. Quiet frankly, I dont give a **** about power in my truck. I had a WS6 so this thing doesnt even come close to comparing and I have ZERO interest in building a truck that is not a diesel. That being said I only want an intake and exhaust for this truck and maybe a chip.....then speakers head unit horn blasters and remote start

Actually I hate the sound of Top Fuel, they all sound the same to me. I like listening to built street cars, b/c each one has a different sound. Especially with a big huge cam and a blower, I can really hear either the blower or the cam... and it REALLY makes it sound bad *** when there is a set of 3" Flowmasters under it. I love the sound of Flows, deep, hallow, and just plain mean.

However, I do love the way top fuel drags make my eyes water from like 10 rows up!!! :YEAH

People, especially on car forums are sheep and believe what ever hype is sold to them. Are they really going to admit that that $500 custom tuned chip they bought just made the truck run worse and reduced their fuel milage? Get your head out of your ***, wake up and smell the coffee.....

If you don't want to do that, here is a product that will do everything you want, I hear it even cures cancer:

The sound of gear drive for the cam is pretty sweet too.

We did a show for the nitro jam. Being 10' away from the cars was pretty intense....and eye watering.:YEAH

I don't know what forums you are on but here's the skinny. Putting a cold air intake on does 1 thing, allows more air. So in return your truck will offset that by adding more fuel. Adding a free flowing exhaust will only allow that air to come in and go out faster and smoother, so again with more air coming into your motor and exiting quicker it will make more power, but will also require a higher fuel consumption. If you are going to "chip" it, I would highly suggest getting the Flashpaq from SuperChips. Best programmer out there, that will increase the "EFFICIENCY" of your motor thus giving you more torque and horsepower. The ONLY reason why you will increase your MPG consumption is b/c you will be making more power which require you using less pedal to get the truck going the same speed. In effect, YOU are increasing the MPG b/c now you are working your truck less to get the same amount of get up and go from when it was stock.
