No kidding, I hear ya man. I had to get rid of my 05 GMC 1500 2wd with the V8 because it was getting 15MPG. I love trucks but when you go from paying $90 in gas a week to $40 with my mazda6 now, you just can't beat it. Only problem is I have to drive my bike to the spot instead of throwing it in the back, but I'm gonna put a hitch on it soon.:YEAH

I wouldn't go as high as 30 but definately on the highway unloaded:
17-26MPG.

Turbo shouldn't make a noise at idle. All I can hear is that international clatter.

The only thing it'll do is make your truck run a bit more efficient and give you a little bit more power, and it will up your MPG by maybe 1 or 2... TOPS. But put bigger tires on it and you can kiss any MPG savings good-bye.

Not for me... nothing like the sound of a lopie cam, with a blower sitting on top of a motor. Now THAT is the sound of pure power!
