I know alot of the stunt teams on here have sponsorships... I have 3-4 companies that are looking to sponsor me for mx racing. I need help with what I should put on my resume. I have to send a resume, pictures, and have to interview with them. I have never made a resume like this before and need input on what to include and what type of format etc... I posted it in open forums https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/74-open-forum/64724-sponsorship-question-need-help.html but thought I might get some more attention with it here too.

 

i have a portfolio that i send out. sponsors want to know what they can get for they money... this is what i do/have included in it:

cool looking packaging (something different, make them want to open it )
what you can do for the sponsor(displays,logos on vehicle,hauler,trailer,,logo on gear,etc)
personal bio
events attended in the past couple of years
number of events projected to attend
awards,wins,specialty stuff
letters of recemnedations
pictures,vid,etc..

sponsorships are like fishing, you might have to cast 100+ times before you get a bite. good luck !!!

the most important thing is WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THEM, not necessarily what they can do for you...let them know what you are going to do, how you are going to do it, and if possible, what your goals for that are...for example, i have set number of bikes/leather jackets/whatever that i include in my package that i hope to sell by my advertising. this lets your potential sponsor know that you have a plan and are going to be aggressive in marketing his company...even if you never achieve that goal, it shows forward thinking and initiative on your part.
