Shoes, lol, nope get some plates if you can. You'll ruin every pair of shoes you got. Oh and when you go over board with the skitchin, like suiclides and stuff, it'll make it alot easier, but it can be done with regular ones.

plates iswhat i am looking for. all i wanna do is go for looks with sparks. i think it looks bad ***. i wonder if it is a lot easier with the plates instead of shoes, probably slide alot smoother. now the question of the day is where the hell can i find a pair of plates.

thanks,
jay

i think i heard someone on stuntlife say to put thumbtacks on the soles of yur shoes for the same effect. that way you dont have to walk @ with those steele plates strapped to yur feet or worry bout taken em off. maybe ill try that

Re: skitchin

i used a pair of lowtop boots with a fat sole and drilled 1/2 inch screws(the ones where the screw head is also about 1/2 inch wide) right into the bottom, just dont put them in the heels cuz you'll bust your azz when trying to walk, yeah, they are slippery, but they spark like a ****!!!!!!!!

Re: skitchin

I would kind of like to try some skid plates, but ive always used my DC shoes, *** the life of the shoe up, but they hold up pretty good though. I dont put all my wait on my feet either, I put most of the weight on the bike, I have done the suislide or whatever you call it. I put a lil to much weight on my DC's before and ive caught a lil to much traction, and did this leg sliding thing......i meant to do that
