Just wondering if anyone has had a fuel problem on there gsxr 1000. My bike spudders up at 12. I have had a few suggestions on what to do just wondering if anyone else has any other ideas. So far i could have a bad fuel injection rack, TPS sensor coulkd be bad, Fuel pump could be bad. Let me know if anyone else has any ideas..

 

there is shutoff switch on gixxers, talk to the motopsychoz mark and jeff have 1ks

 

your problem is that you are riding a suzuki

as long as you disabled the tip sensor it should be ok...the only time my gixxer sputtered on a 12 is when my fuel light is on

 

Did the tip sensor about 2 years ago. That is not the problem..

Mine does it all the time if I am low on fuel. How much you got????? ALso....they run like crap with a dirty air cleaner. Other than that I dont know what to tell you!

Well i changed the fuel pump and when i took it off there was brown gas that came out of it so i think it was bad gas. Also i put a bottle of injector cleaner so hopefully it will run good now..

 

where did you get a pump from? when i went to the dealer to price one out they wanted 520 dollars for one or something like that

 

Buddy of mine had it, you can get them pretty cheap on ebay..

 

i was kiddin bout the tip sensor...i figured that was done long ago cuz you guys are sick and your the first group i eva saw ride, so even though the group is made of new people i kinda figured...but another thing if you use a lot of sunoco fuel there is red silt that is in there gas and that can also clog up passages and cause stuff not to work properly ova time...seen that a lot on some of the late 90's sportbikes while at work cuz i'm a half a** motorcycle mechanic when i'm not rippin' it up on my bike

I do have a question tho, have you done anything about the oil feed on your gixxer? i've seen some post on here where people are sellin something for like 75 bux that is supposed to help w/ oil while doin 12's and sh*t do you have any input on that...i just don't wanna blow my 6 hun motor if i don't gotta but if ya gotta i will cuz i love this sport

 

Bike still runs like sh*t. There is literally dirt in the fuel. I think maybe the fuel injectors might be clogged up.. Dam Suzuki's
