OK ive been looking at chains for about 2-3 weeks now and cant make up my mind. I need a 520 and at most a 120 link. I see a lot of people run DB chains and such, but i figure as much abuse and jerking as a chian gets, wouldnt you be looking into the high end chains to risk not breaking it?

its rare that you see someone breakin a chain that is well maintained... 520 have a higher tensil stringth then a 525 and more then a 530 but with a smaller pitch you tend to wear out the sprocket faster assuming your runnin alum..... i run and most of the ppl that i know run 525's all day long and beat the **** out of them with no problem

oh yea im pretty sure i have a 520 layin around if you are lookin to buy one

xring 520 - you do want to go high dollar with chains, you don't have to change it for a long long time if you maintain it
