how many xdl events per year are there ?

how many stuntwars events per year are there?

starboyz stuntfest , king of the south not to mention all the factory riders there are

what about all the people who make a living doing shows all year long?

what about all the people traveling to different countries to do shows?

what about all the companies that sell stunt parts?

what about a tv show on speed channel that shows stunting almost every episode ?

i mean if you dont consider all that as a legit sport then i doubt you ever will..

 

heres a thought.....say stuntin' hits big with society if it airs on the x-games, it sure as hell will make people want to improve more to be able to compete. and it will most likely gain a hell of alot more interest in the eyes of the average joe who is oblivious to the lifestyle/sport/hobby (whatever you wanna call it).
.... but, i bet that the x-games and big names in the sport are going to get blamed for all the people who see it and get out there and try doin technical **** on the highwaY and **** themselves or someone else up, then the sport gets a bad rep cause of simple-minded ****** like news stations and gung-ho moms who think they're saving society.

i could care less who they blame(if it happens), **** them....
but this is just a thought... and probably my third post....and i ride an xr 80 cause im a broke fool
but i do know enough about this sport

Not if he does it on a drag strip leagaly, but if he kills three people and Force endorces it, like Teach endorces stunting on the street or the Streetfighterz endorse it than yes it'll be his fault. John Force doesn't endorce street racing and some of the biggest teams and names in our "sport" do!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good point. but i think the x-games would make mainstreamers more aware of stuntin' and blow up the seriousness of it on the highways....either way i dont care cause as of now there is no sportbike freestyle in the xgames and maybe my scenario wont even happen, who knows

Yeah it's not illeagal when done at a contest, but otherwise it is, good point!!!!

 

LoL So is almost EVERY other extreme sport... skateboarding, rollerblading, paintballing (Not Extreme, But Still Illegal) FMX, Etc. Etc.

i think tom was right...lol it's also not illegal on private property that is closed off to the public

 

and when they leave those contests or some kid trying to pretend to be in those contests it ends up on the streets where its illegal. **** happens, ppl die. i know first hand as im sure alot of you do. who honestly doesnt bang a whoolie or 2 on their way home from the lot? **** how many ppl actually have a lot?... see my point? and that is the view that tax payers and towns boards members and everybody who actually matters and who are the only ppl who can actually do anything about it.
