I think stunting is a little more entertaining than paintball lol. i dont have anything to add coz I'll still be working on my wheelies whether it makes it or doesnt.

to each his own. paintball would be PERFECT for xgames. y its not by now i dont really no, i have a few ideas tho. but i use ball cuz statistically paintball is the most popular sport in america today. more popular than football, baseball, bmx, skateboarding, motocross. whick leaves stuntin motorcycles in the dust. the reason y? EVERYBODY can do it, plus its jsut packed adrenoline fun. right now u and....... ure mom can go to ure local field and play ball. ure mom however not gonna hop on ure bike and pull off a ss, or she might. idk. most r moms and ppl cant. but yea...

we've been doin that in ball for YEARS. ****. competetive paintball is nothin but sponsorships. paint, field, guns, tanks, air, tourny fees etc. the reason y paintball hasnt taken off is simply because u have nppl/psp/gpl..just DOZENS of different leagues.... taking paintball in crazy different directions. theres no set rules, alot of cheating, and not a high sense of business professionalism. its just funny. last year nppl world series had tens of thousands come just ot watch. but yet its not apart of xgames. and the soul reason its not in olympics is because olympics is built on respect and dignity n ****. paintball just isnt that scene.

i didnt mean to change the subject if i did. just tryin to say, dont get ure hopes up. the paintball thing was my dream. but that came to a crash. the disapointment sucks.

 

I've always associated the x-games with things on wheels or things that take actual skill..unlike paintball....that could be just me though

 

your in baldwin? your within distance of several pretty nice fields. go to www.pbnation.com and look em up. hop on a 3v3 inters tourny this weekend, im positive they have one. and then tell me what u think after that. uve obviously never played in the competetive scene.

I know there are places and the people are really competitive, but its aiming a gun that shoots paint to hit someone else its not really an extreme sport I used to have an e class oracle and a halo b and I played with alot of people. All it is, is a waste of money on paint that you get to shoot other people for minutes at a time. I was good mind you but it just gets boring/theres no change in it or levels of it or progression.

 

are you telling me there are more people playing paint ball than base ball and foot ball? i may be old and out of the loop but i find that hard to believe

 

Where do you get your 'facts' from?

How many paint ball fields are in your town? How many basketball courts, baseball fields??

How many leauges, how many teams?

Our town used to have two baseball fields, now we have none. We have at LEAST 10 different AREAS that have baseball fields, and I'm sure over 30 baseball fields, dozens of football fields, hell we have more soccer here then paintball. And basketball courts are countless

There might be 1, 2, maybe 3 paintball teams in my town, and I'm sure its just 5 friends that play together..
Whereas EVERY GRADE LEVEL in school has multiple basketball teams lol. Hell just in one elementry school probably 100 basketball players that practice 3 times a week and compete lol

 

yeah i feel ya on the money thing thats y im gettin into my bike. even with sponsorships its expensive. but it is pretty extreme. u use ure team to move down the field, n runnin, sliden yada yada. ever been bunkered wit 300psi? OMG. i got deap into the scene and i do have to disagree with the progression. its jsut that to all those ppl who think stuntin gonna be huge... dont invest to much into it.

 

whoooooooohooooooooo. What will be their tricks status and all ?if that so , what is the run time and all ....who will be picked by their based on decision by whom? There is so many decision to make and how will it work like sickest trick or whatsoever it is.

ps: i have to go to dr to get my elbow surgery ...ahhhhh that blows ! ****** drywall blew my elbow when i was holding it up on the ceiling. hope i make sense cuz the med is drownsy !

 

i live near a park that has about 20 baseball diamonds and most nights they are full and thats just one park , i do live in a very populated area but still there arent near as many paint ball fields

 

yes thats a completely true statistic. i can find the source if u want proof. its quit simple really. some dude mgith love baseball but hate football and visa versa but ALL GUYS love action, war, crazy stupid ****. what better in the world to play war and shoot ure friends family and strangers with painful ***** of paint traveling at an extremely high rate of speed?
