when down shifting from high revs the rear wheel will not skip and chatter about

it will not affect wheelies in any way....... its really a good thing

"quoted from Wikipedia
They are designed to partially disengage or "slip" when the rear wheel tries to drive the engine faster than it would run under its own power."

Re: slipper clutch

Was told by a kawasaki tech you could, you need a 636 clutch asymbly and the transmission output shaft that the basket sits on from the 636.

Re: slipper clutch

theres no need to. ive owned 3 bikes with slipper clutches and couldnt tell the difference at all. matter of fact they still lock up the wheel a good amount with the slipper clutches.
