Re: slipper clutch
when down shifting from high revs the rear wheel will not skip and chatter about
it will not affect wheelies in any way....... its really a good thing
"quoted from Wikipedia
They are designed to partially disengage or "slip" when the rear wheel tries to drive the engine faster than it would run under its own power."

Re: slipper clutch
theres no need to. ive owned 3 bikes with slipper clutches and couldnt tell the difference at all. matter of fact they still lock up the wheel a good amount with the slipper clutches.

Re: slipper clutch
you can ride it either way, but there is a difference. When you are using engine brake at slow speeds, you will get a free wheel like your clutch was engaged when you let off the throttle it will kinda just fall, i welded up my slipper and took out the slipper springs and it is smooth has engine brake like the 03-04 you don't need to but anyone that has rode my bike can tell the difference, with that said go ride some wheelies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
