First off you shouldn't have ran, the cop probably would have said to take your bikes home and don't come back there.
I've been pulled over riding a wheelie down the middle of the street and the cop said to me to put it away and then he said, these are his exact words,"By the way, nice wheelie". Some cops are cool with this stuff.

i agree, you guys are kinda stupid for running, i have never seen a cop role up to a stunt spot and just start arresting people unless they have been warned several times first. Every time I have encountered a cop they have been pretty cool about the entire situation and are just passing through to see what all the noise is about. Running from the cops brings a terrible reputation to other riders. Police are normal people underneath the badge, if they role up to the spot just approach them and let them know you are trying to keep it off the streets, absolute worse case they are gonna make you leave.
