it defers state to state. first off wouldn't of ran. worse he can do if he didn't witness anything illegal is ask you to leave. The main thing is if the cop did not have a reason to intervene in the first place then you weren't really evading. just cuz he was suspicious and came by and you ran off doesn't mean anything until the lights are on. In all reality talk to a good friend and find out why the bikes are being held. im sure their just being held under the pretense of being abandoned. which is a small tow fee and impound fee and your done. if there were no red and blues your in the clear he didnt have anything on u.

 

they dont have to have there lights on to make it oficial if they pull up and you run your screwed.if they come to your house to question you about something they dont come tanking in with lights and siren going but if you did something your going to the pokey.

Do you hang out on top of that mountain that over looks downtown where that cargo thing takes you up and down the mountain? My girlfriend lives in Pittsburgh and while I was there she took me to some spot that bikes hang out at during the summer.

She is far from a groupie. My first time in Pittsburgh, she was showing me around and the best site to see Pittsburgh at night just happened to be that mountain. And I guess she thought it would be cool to tell me because I ride.
