so i had a kidney transplant in april, this is the first year i cant do shows cause of that stuff an my first year without a bike, i sold my last one at the end of the season, so i buy a r6 right after my surgery cause i figure that i wont do anything crazy on an r6 and i cant afford to wreck medically right now. i tore the whole bike down so i wouldnt be tempted to ride it till i was able, dumped alot of cash in it, got it painted by my budd who owns a body shop, said the paint itself cost over a grand, get the thing back last weekend and put it together, well it rained all weekend so i finally get all the last touches done and ready to ride saturday, looks sick as hell, ride for a couple hours saturday, leave it parked outside a motorcycle shop and the gym for a little, this morning when im getting home i notice a black spot on the upper, its a damn paint chip, the exhaust is scratched and loose too, someone knocked my bike over on the right side, 1 day and the damn thing is already chipped, so i ride it over my buddys who painted it, he sees it doesnt seem too concerned, i let him take it for a ride, brings it back, doesnt put the kickstand all the way down, drops it on the other side i guess he painted it, he can drop it if he wants, so after that he says yeah give me the parts back and ill repaint them... unbelievable 3 months, 6 grand cash out of my pocket, 1 day

i would never pay that much for paint, thats not how much the paint job cost, that just the cost of the paint alone, neway read buddy who painted it, he did it for free, they are loaded, i gave him a couple hundred bucks for it, pretty good bargain, i dont have any pics up now, my phone wont send pics, im gonna get some with my brothers camera whenever i see him

 

i too was waiting for that one. dam, sucks bout the bike but its gangster that the paint guy dropped it cus he gets to fix it on his budget so u came out ok on that one, only real lose ur takin is a waste of time

 

yeah man....hope the plastic doesn't crack tho....i've had numerous with plastic repairs, and only half seem to hold and tha **** is abs and going flippity flap all tha time

 

I fix broken bodywork all day long.... I can make your abs stronger than anything else out there.

As for the bike, you wont get any sympathy here because Im betting most of us have some busted up bikes...lol... except Mr. LRM above, but hes gangster with the gun!!!!

 

oh man you dont even know how mint my 954 was before i started stuntin.... love the tricks i learned but miss the sparkiling chrome and carbon fiber **** but all in all the stunts get the bitches better than a clean bike so it pays off hahahha

 

bikes are gonna hit the ground. I would just leave it as it is because its going to happen again.

 

i was just about to ask what paint cost $1000. at most it took two quarts to paint your bike, i dont even think harlequin costs that much anymore.

i really curious to see what paint alone cost $1000?
